To advance to the championship game, Roach won 8-5 over Scott Jones (Moncton, NB) in the semifinals of the 2020 New Brunswick Tankard in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada;
 
Roach finished 5-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roach defeated Ryan Cain (Fredericton, NB) 10-9, then went on to lose 5-3 against Trevor Hanson (Oromocto, NB). Roach responded with a 7-4 win over Grattan. Roach won 9-3 against Ed Cyr (Fredericton, NB), then won 5-1 against Rene Comeau (Saint John, NB). Roach went on to lose 9-7 against Jones. Roach responded with a 8-5 win over Terry Odishaw (Moncton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the New Brunswick Tankard, Roach take home 6.188 world rankings points, moving up 22 spots the World Ranking Standings into 133rd place overall with 27.458 total points. Roach ranks 134th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 25.762 points earned so far this season.
