In their opening game, Dewar lost 11-5 to Melissa Morrow (Summerside, PEI), then responded with a 8-4 win over Amanda Power (Charlottetown, PEI). Dewar went on to lose 7-6 against Morrow. Dewar lost 5-3 to Power in their final qualifying round match.

Dewar earned 0.309 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 39 spots the World Ranking Standings into 282nd place overall with 0.309 total points. Dewar ranks 251st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.309 points earned so far this season.
