Giacomo Colli (Trentino, ITA) finished 2-7 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Colli defeated James Craik (Aberdeen, SCO) 5-4, then went on to lose 8-3 against Yves Wagenseil (Bern, SUI). Colli lost 6-4 to Andrey Dudov (Moscow, RCF). Colli lost 7-2 to Jacques Gauthier (Winnipeg, CAN). Colli lost 9-7 to Sixten Totzek (Hamburg, GER). Colli lost 5-4 to Daniel Magnusson (Karlstad, SWE). Colli lost 8-7 to Luc Violette (Lake Stevens, USA) where Colli responded with a 7-5 win over Matthew Neilson (Naseby, NZL). Colli went on to lose 7-3 against Eirik Oey (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Colli earned 2.640 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 31 of the event schedule, Colli did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Colli ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
