Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) won 7-6 over Seina Nakajima (Nagano, JPN) in the Final of the Japan National Championship, held February 9 - 16, 2020 at the Karuizawa Curling Club in Karuizawa, Japan.
 
Fujisawa finished 7-1 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fujisawa defeated Yuki Shibuto (Hiroshima, JPN) 10-1, then won 13-2 against Shiori Fujisawa (Karuizawa, JPN) and 8-2 against Yumiko Kashiwagi (Karuizawa, JPN). Fujisawa won 9-2 against Shinobu Aota (Aomori, JPN), then won 8-6 against Honoka Sasaki (Sapporo, JPN) and 9-6 against Tori Koana (Yamanashi, JPN). Fujisawa won 5-4 against Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN). Fujisawa went on to lose 8-7 against Nakajima in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Japan National Championship Championship title, Fujisawa earned 43.641 world rankings points, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 11.137 after improving upon their best so far this season. Fujisawa ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 342.872 points earned so far this season.
