Kingan responded with a 7-4 win over Emil M. Kval (Oslo, NOR). Kingan won 7-3 against Daniel Casper (Briarcliff Manor, NY), then won 5-4 against Andrew Stopera (Briarcliff Manor, NY) and 8-2 against Hamilton in their final qualifying round match.
