Joanisse won 7-0 against Jason Montgomery (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the King Cash Spiel, Joanisse take home 11.398 world rankings points along with the $2,400CDN prize, moving up 37 spots the World Ranking Standings into 146th place overall with 25.102 total points. Joanisse ranks 134th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.492 points earned so far this season.
