Taylor Reese-Hansen (Kitimat, BC) won 8-2 over Kristen Ryan (British Columbia) in the Final To advance to the championship game, Reese-Hansen won 8-5 over Shiella Cowan (Vancouver, BC) in the semifinals of the 2021 King Cash Spiel in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada;
Reese-Hansen finished 3-1 in the 6 team King Cash Spiel qualifying round, held December 3 - 5, 2021 at the Golden Ears Curling Club in Maple Ridge, Canada. In their opening game, Reese-Hansen lost 7-6 to Ryan, then responded with a 5-3 win over Sarah Daniels (New Westminster, BC). Reese-Hansen won 8-2 against Shawna Jensen (New Westminster, BC), then won 6-5 against Cowan in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the King Cash Spiel Championship title, Reese-Hansen earned 6.750 world rankings points along with the $2,800CDN first prize cheque, moving up 30 spots the World Ranking Standings into 139th place overall with 13.341 total points. Reese-Hansen ranks 128th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.598 points earned so far this season.
