Murphy went on to lose 6-5 against Auld. Murphy responded with a 5-2 win over Shannon Jay (St. Thomas, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Murphy earned 11.888 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Part II Bistro Ladies Classic, remaining in 32nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 8.163 after improving upon their best so far this season. Murphy ranks 37th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 46.110 points earned so far this season.
