Sherrer finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sherrer defeated Jessica Wytrychowski (Airdrie, AB) 7-4, then won 9-1 against Olivia Jones (Okotoks, AB) and 8-7 against Deb Santos (Edmonton, AB). Sherrer went on to lose 5-4 against Tori Koana (Fujiyoshida, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
