Koe went on to lose 9-3 against John Epping (Toronto, ON). Koe responded with a 10-5 win over Michael Fournier (Montreal, QC). Koe went on to lose 8-7 against Bottcher. Koe responded with a 8-5 win over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Koe won 12-4 against Jason Gunnlaugson (Winnipeg, MB), then won 7-6 against Wayne Middaugh (Penetanguishene, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
