Kayla MacMillan (Vancouver, BC) lost 8-6 to Mary-Anne Arsenault (Kelowna, BC) in the Final of the BC Scotties, held January 4 - 9, 2022 in Kamloops, British Columbia.

MacMillan finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, MacMillan defeated Diane Gushulak (New Westminster, BC) 9-4, then won 7-3 against Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) and 6-5 against Arsenault in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the BC Scotties, MacMillan take home 12.499 world rankings points. MacMillan move up 7 spots after posting a net gain of 2.835 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 53rd overall with 64.089 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
