Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN) finished 4-1 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dupont defeated Isis Oliveira (Sao Paolo, BRA) 17-0, then won 10-4 against Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT). Dupont went on to lose 7-4 against Marianne Rorvik (Oslo, NOR). Dupont responded with a 12-4 win over Miia Ahrenberg (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Dupont won 20-2 against Hong Kong's Ling-Yue Hung in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the World Qualification Event Championship title, Dupont earned 9.563 world rankings points, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 38th place overall with 85.812 total points. Dupont ranks 30th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 82.365 points earned so far this season.
