In their opening game, Orsted lost 9-3 to Brett Barber (Biggar, SK), then responded with a 7-5 win over Stasia Wisniewski (Regina, SK). Orsted went on to lose 9-2 against Lorraine Schneider (Regina, SK). Orsted lost 8-2 to Barber in their final qualifying round match.

Orsted earned 1.148 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 109th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1.224 after improving upon their best so far this season. Orsted ranks 108th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.821 points earned so far this season.
