In their opening game, Selzer defeated Emily Haupstein (Saskatoon , SK) 6-0, then won 5-4 against Barker and 6-4 against Jessica Mitchell (Regina, SK). Selzer won 7-4 against Ashley Howard (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
