Muirhead won 7-4 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER), then won 9-2 against Liisa Turmann (Tallinn, EST) and 9-5 against Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT). Muirhead won 8-1 against Stefania Constantini (Trentino, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Olympic Qualification Event Championship title, Muirhead earned 64.719 world rankings points.
