Luc Violette (Chaska, MN) run at the 2021 USA Olympic Trials Mayfield Qualifier came to an end in the semifinals with a 11-4 loss to Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA). of the 2021 USA Olympic Trials Mayfield Qualifier in Cleveland, Ohio;

Violette finished 3-2 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Violette defeated Wesley Wendling (Wausau, WI) 7-2, then went on to lose 9-5 against Greg Persinger (Fairbanks, AK). Violette lost 12-7 to Darryl Sobering (Denver, CO) where Violette responded with a 10-3 win over Wendling. Violette won 7-6 against Sobering in their final qualifying round match.

Violette earned 10.171 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the USA Olympic Trials Mayfield Qualifier. For week 10 of the event schedule, Violette did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 34th to 36th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 68.672 total points. Violette ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 39.610 points earned so far this season.
