Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) finished 4-6 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunnam defeated Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) 9-5, then went on to lose 9-3 against John Shuster (Chaska, MN). Dunnam responded with a 9-8 win over Jed Brundidge (East St. Paul, MN). Dunnam went on to lose 8-7 against Rich Ruohonen (Minneapolis, MN). Dunnam lost 8-7 to Greg Persinger (Fairbanks, AK). Dunnam lost 11-3 to Shuster where Dunnam responded with a 10-5 win over Brundidge. Dunnam went on to lose 7-6 against Ruohonen. Dunnam responded with a 11-4 win over Persinger. Dunnam went on to lose 6-3 against Dropkin in their final qualifying round match.

Dunnam earned 5.344 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 17 of the event schedule, Dunnam did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 37th to 38th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 91.238 total points. Dunnam ranks 38th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 49.713 points earned so far this season.
