Minami finished 7-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Minami defeated Japan's Mizuki Tmura 5-4, then won 7-5 against Yuuna Takahashi (Nayoro, JPN) and 9-5 against Momono Shirahata (Kitami, JPN). Minami won 8-5 against Mari Motohashi (Kitami, JPN), then won 7-2 against Azuki Akimoto (Sapporo, JPN) and 6-2 against Japan's Momoha Tabata. Minami won 7-5 against Miyu Tanaka (Obihiro, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Hokkaido Curling Championships, Minami take home 3.713 world rankings points, moving up 28 spots the World Ranking Standings into 158th place overall with 7.068 total points. Minami ranks 156th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.713 points earned so far this season.
