Cameron de Jong (Penticton, BC) qualified for the 2022 King Cash Spiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-6 against Riku Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN).

de Jong finished 2-1 in the 16 team King Cash Spiel qualifying round, held December 2 - 4, 2022 at the Golden Ears Curling Club in Maple Ridge, Canada. In their opening game, de Jong lost 8-0 to Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN), then responded with a 7-2 win over Dean Joanisse (Maple Ridge, BC). de Jong won 5-2 against Zane Bartlett (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

de Jong earned 7.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the King Cash Spiel. For week 18 of the event schedule, de Jong did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. de Jong ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
