Hailey Birnie (Whitehorse, YK) run at the 2022 King Cash Spiel came to an end in the semifinals with a 4-3 loss to Shawna Jensen (Greater Vancouver, BC). of the 2022 King Cash Spiel in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada;

Birnie finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Birnie defeated Kristen Ryan (Maple Ridge, BC) 7-5, then went on to lose 10-5 against Jensen. Birnie responded with a 8-1 win over Ashley Dezura (New Westminster, BC). Birnie won 8-5 against Taylor Reese-Hansen (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
