Steffen Walstad (Oslo, NOR) won 5-3 over Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED) in the Final To advance to the championship game, Walstad won 9-1 over Lukas Hostmaelingen (Oslo, NOR) in the semifinals of the 2022 Baden Masters in Baden-Daettwil, Switzerland; and won 6-3 over Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Baden Masters in Baden-Daettwil, Switzerland;

Walstad finished 3-1 in the 20 team Baden Masters qualifying round, held August 19 - 21, 2022 at the Curling Center Baden Regio in Baden-Daettwil, Switzerland. In their opening game, Walstad defeated Sixten Totzek (Baden Baden, GER) 7-3, then went on to lose 8-4 against Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO). Walstad responded with a 6-2 win over Manuel Jermann (Arlesheim, SUI). Walstad won 7-6 against Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Baden Masters Championship title, Walstad earned 52.500 world rankings points along with the $16,219CDN first prize cheque. For week 3 of the event schedule, Walstad did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Walstad ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
