Randell/Lemieux finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Randell/Lemieux defeated Julie Benson/Bret Jackson (Brighton, MI) 12-2, then went on to lose 6-4 against Madeleine Spurgeon/Ben Kong (Kingston, JAM). Randell/Lemieux responded with a 8-3 win over Hussain/Husain in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Greater Toronto Mixed Doubles Curling Cup, Randell/Lemieux take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $750CDN prize.
