Kitz/Stewart finished 4-0 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kitz/Stewart defeated Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI) 10-4, then won 8-5 against Taylor Anderson/Ben Richardson (Chaska , MN) and 7-6 against Mikaylah Lyburn/William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB).
