Rachel Homan/Tyler Tardi (Ottawa, ON) finished 2-2 in the 25 team Winnipeg Open - Mixed Doubles Super Series qualifying round, held December 1 - 4, 2022 at the Fort Rouge Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. In their opening game, Homan/Tardi lost 9-4 to Pia-Lisa Schoell/Klaudius Harsch (Oberstorf, GER), then responded with a 8-0 win over Samantha Yachiw/Jordan Raymond (Saskatoon, SK). Homan/Tardi went on to lose 7-5 against Shannon Birchard/John Morris (Winnipeg, MB). Homan/Tardi responded with a 9-7 win over Laura Walker/Kirk Muyres (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Homan/Tardi earned 5.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Homan/Tardi did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Homan/Tardi ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
