North Dakota's Allan Hemstad qualified for the 2022 USA Curling 5U National Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 9-3 against Wisconsin's Daniel Bliven.

In their opening game, North Dakota's Allan Hemstad defeated Colorado's Adam Huffman 8-1, then won 9-8 against North Carolina's Jason Lee. North Dakota's Allan Hemstad went on to lose 9-6 against Illinois's James-Grant Robertson. North Dakota's Allan Hemstad responded with a 12-3 win over Wisconsin's Brian Nodolf. North Dakota's Allan Hemstad went on to lose 9-7 against California's Alyssa Parks in their final qualifying round match.
