Scott Jones (Moncton, NB) lost 6-2 to Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the PointsBet Capital Winter Club Repechage, held September 23 - 25, 2022 at the Capital Winter Curling Club in Fredericton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Jones won 4-3 over Landan Rooney (Whitby, ON) in the semifinals of the 2022 PointsBet Capital Winter Club Repechage in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada;

Jones finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Liam Marin (Saint John, NB) 7-3, then won 9-4 against Robert Desjardins (Quebec, QC). Jones went on to lose 5-2 against Sturmay. Jones responded with a 7-2 win over Nicholas Deagle (Bridgewater, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the PointsBet Capital Winter Club Repechage, Jones take home 16.500 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN prize, moving up 64 spots the World Ranking Standings into 94th place overall with 27.676 total points. Jones ranks 43rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 16.500 points earned so far this season.
