Greg Balsdon (Richmond Hill, ON) won 6-2 over Jasmin Gibeau (Buckingham, QC) in the Final of the Everest Canadian Curling Club Championships, held November 21 - 26, 2022 in Edmonton, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Balsdon won 12-4 over Rob Johnson (Irricana, AB) in the semifinals
 
Balsdon finished 6-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Balsdon defeated Jeff Lacey (Saint John, NB) 7-2, then won 6-5 against Rod Feltham (Gander, NL) and 12-4 against Northwest Territories's Jim Lockhart. Balsdon won 7-5 against Ron Schmidt (Comox Valley, BC), then won 13-2 against Wade Scoffin (Whitehorse, YK) and 6-3 against Gibeau in their final qualifying round match.
 
Balsdon ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
