Cormier went on to lose 8-2 against Diane Foster (Calgary, AB). Cormier lost 8-3 to Sherry Anderson (Saskatoon, SK) where Cormier responded with a 6-5 win over Tracey Larocque (Thunder Bay, NONT). Cormier won 7-2 against Sandy Comeau (Moncton, NB). Cormier went on to lose 9-7 against Terry Ursel (Neepawa, MB). Cormier lost 7-3 to Shelly Bradley (Cornwall, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
