In their opening game, Scheel lost 7-4 to Delaney Strouse (Minneapolis , MN), droppimg another game, 7-3 to Sarah Anderson (Chaska, MN). Scheel lost 13-6 to Kim Rhyme (St. Paul, MN). Scheel lost 9-5 to Christine McMakin (Fargo, ND). Scheel lost 8-1 to Madison Bear (Chaska, MN). Scheel lost 9-5 to Tabitha Peterson (Chaska, MN) where Scheel responded with a 6-2 win over Rachel Workin (Fargo, ND) in their final qualifying round match.

Scheel earned 1.875 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, Scheel did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Scheel ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
