Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC) finished 1-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wark lost 8-5 to Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC), then responded with a 9-7 win over Diane Gushulak (Vernon, BC). Wark went on to lose 9-8 against Kristen Ryan (Maple Ridge, BC). Wark lost 7-6 to Shawna Jensen (Richmond, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Wark earned 0.938 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Wark did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Wark ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
