Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) run at the Aberdeen International Curling Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 3-2 loss to Whyte. of the Aberdeen International Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland;
 
Mouat finished 4-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Hoesli 7-2, then won 6-5 against Sixten Totzek (Baden Baden, GER) and 7-5 against Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI). Mouat won 9-1 against Fabio Ribotta (Pinerolo, ITA). Mouat went on to lose 0-0 against Hoesli in their final qualifying round match.
 
Mouat earned 21.250 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Aberdeen International Curling Championship, remaining in 6th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 17.5 after improving upon their best so far this season.
