Kapp finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kapp defeated Andrin Schnider (Schaffhausen, SUI) 9-4, then won 7-2 against James Craik (Stirling, SCO). Kapp went on to lose 7-5 against Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA). Kapp responded with a 5-2 win over Yves Stocker (Zug, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kapp earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Aberdeen International Curling Championship. For week 33 of the event schedule, Kapp did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kapp ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
