Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) won 9-2 over Hollie Duncan (Woodstock, ON) in the Final Homan advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the Ontario Scotties, held January 23 - 29, 2023 in Port Elgin, Ontario.
 
Homan finished 6-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Susan Froud (Alliston, ON) 10-1, then went on to lose 9-8 against Alli Flaxey (Dundas Valley, ON). Homan responded with a 10-4 win over Lauren Mann (Arnprior, ON). Homan won 1-0 against Maddy Warriner (Dundas, ON), then won 11-9 against Danielle Inglis (Ottawa, ON) and 8-7 against Duncan. Homan won 7-3 against Carly Howard (Mississauga, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Ontario Scotties Championship title, Homan earned 30.000 world rankings points. For week 26 of the event schedule, Homan did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 2nd place on the World Ranking Standings with 341.859 total points. Homan ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 270.750 points earned so far this season.
