Sarah Loken/Cody Tanaka (Richmond, BC) finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Loken/Tanaka defeated Kayla Wilson/Troy Cowan (Victoria, BC) 6-5, then won 6-4 against Taylor Reese-Hansen/Corey Chester (Victoria, BC). Loken/Tanaka went on to lose 6-4 against Maia Belway/Cam Weir (Salmon Arm, BC). Loken/Tanaka responded with a 9-7 win over Steph Jackson-Baier/Cameron de Jong (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the BC Mixed Doubles Championship Championship title, Loken/Tanaka earned 15.000 world rankings points. For week 28 of the event schedule, Loken/Tanaka did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Loken/Tanaka ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
