Wesley Wendling (Wausau, WI) won 8-5 over Caden Hebert (Eau Claire, WI) in the Final of the USA Curling Junior National Championship, held April 3 - 8, 2023 in Wayland, Massachusetts.

Wendling finished 7-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wendling defeated Nicholas Cenzalli (Wayland, MA) 9-2, then won 7-4 against Zachary Brenden (Bismarck, ND) and 10-6 against Hebert. Wendling won 8-7 against Caiden Rose (Denver, CO), then won 12-9 against Mason Guentzel (St. Paul, MN) and 10-1 against Connor Grabow (Blaine, MN). Wendling won 9-4 against Evan Carlson (Laurel, MD) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the USA Curling Junior National Championship Championship title, Wendling earned 7.500 world rankings points. For week 36 of the event schedule, Wendling did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Wendling ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
