Jean-Michel Arsenault (Levis, QC) won 5-4 over Felix Asselin (Montreal, QC) in the Final of the Invitation Valleyfield, held September 28 - October 1, 2023 at the Valleyfield Curling Club in , Quebec. To advance to the championship game, Arsenault won 5-3 over Robert Desjardins (Saguenay, QC) in the semifinals of the 2023 Invitation Valleyfield in , Quebec; and won 5-1 over Steven Munroe (Quebec, QC) in the quarterfinals.
 
Arsenault finished 3-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Arsenault defeated Munroe 7-2, then won 7-4 against Simon Hebert (Valleyfield, QC) and 11-3 against P.N. Raju (Hyderabad, IN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Invitation Valleyfield Championship title, Arsenault earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque. Arsenault move up 12 spots after posting a net gain of -1.172 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 67th overall with 50.391 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Arsenault ranks 56th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.125 points earned so far this season.
