Knapp finished 3-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Knapp defeated Brandon Zuravloff (Canora, SK) 8-3, then won 7-5 against Josh Bryden (Regina, SK) and 5-3 against Randy Bryden (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
