Plett won 7-6 against Zhuo Han (HARBIN, CHN). Plett went on to lose 7-6 against Robyn Munro (Stirling, SCO). Plett responded with a 7-5 win over Miku Nihira (Sapporo, JPN). Plett won 9-1 against Ilknur Urusan (Erzurum, TUR). Plett went on to lose 8-3 against Korea's Hanbyeol Park. Plett responded with a 8-6 win over Sara Messenzehl (Fuessen, GER). Plett went on to lose 8-6 against Schwaller in their final qualifying round match.
