Sherrilee Orsted (Moose Jaw, SK) finished 2-3 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Orsted defeated Suhyeon Kim (Uiseong, KOR) 9-4, then went on to lose 6-2 against Atina Ford Johnston (Calgary, AB). Orsted responded with a 7-3 win over Hana Synackova (Prague, CZE). Orsted went on to lose 12-3 against Michelle Hartwell (Edmonton, AB). Orsted lost 7-3 to Kim in their final qualifying round match.

Orsted earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 15 of the event schedule, Orsted did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Orsted ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
