Michael Carss (Saskatoon, SK) lost 7-6 to Kelly Knapp (Regina, SK) in the Final of the Sask Curling Tour - Yorkton , held November 29 - December 1 at the Yorkton Curling Club in Yorkton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Carss won 5-2 over Garret Fedak (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the Sask Curling Tour - Yorkton in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 6-2 over Drew Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the Sask Curling Tour - Yorkton in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada;

Carss finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Carss defeated Brandon Zuravloff (Canora, SK) 5-2, then won 7-5 against Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK) and 5-3 against Charley Thomas (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Sask Curling Tour - Yorkton , Carss take home 5.500 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 110th place overall with 23.344 total points. Carss ranks 84th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 19.750 points earned so far this season.
