Zuzana Paulova/Tomas Paul (Prague, CZE) won 9-7 over Katrina Gaidule/Roberts Buncis (Riga, LAT) in the Final of the WCT Latvian Mixed Doubles Curling Cup 2, held April 3 - 6, 2025 at the Riga Curling Hall in Riga, Latvia. To advance to the championship game, Paulova/Paul won 10-6 over Santa Blumberga/Arnis Veidemanis (Riga, LAT) in the semifinals
Paulova/Paul finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Paulova/Paul defeated Angnieszka Wojtysiak/Grzegorz Koneczny (Lodz, POL) 10-4, then won 7-2 against Mintaute Jurkute/Paulius Rymeikis (Vilnius, LTU) and 6-5 against Liga Avena/Aivars Avotins (Riga, LAT). Paulova/Paul won 8-3 against Akvile Rykove/Konstantin Rykov (Vilnius, LTU) in their final qualifying round match.
Paulova/Paul earned 3.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 36 of the event schedule, Paulova/Paul did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 56th place on the World Ranking Standings with 36.062 total points. Paulova/Paul ranks 56th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 36.062 points earned so far this season.
