Myla Plett (Edmonton, AB) run at the Excel Cup came to an end in the semifinals with a 6-4 loss to Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB).

Plett finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Plett defeated Alberta's Abby Whitbread 6-1, then won 7-6 against Holly Hafeli (Kamloops, BC) and 8-4 against Kayleigh Shannon (Lethbridge, AB). Plett won 7-6 against Richards in their final qualifying round match.
