Chris Parkinson (Comox Valley, BC) finished 4-4 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Parkinson defeated Isaiah Dalton (Cornwall, PEI) 10-4, then went on to lose 12-4 against Tyler MacTavish (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON). Parkinson lost 6-3 to Zach Davies (Edmonton, AB) where Parkinson responded with a 10-4 win over Nash Sugden (Morden, MB). Parkinson went on to lose 12-5 against Zach Atherton (Halifax, NS). Parkinson lost 9-4 to Dylan Derksen (Saskatoon, SK) where Parkinson responded with a 7-6 win over Pierre-Olivier Roy (Quebec, QC). Parkinson won 8-6 against Riley Winters (North Bay, NO) in their final qualifying round match.

Parkinson earned 0.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 35 of the event schedule, Parkinson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Parkinson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
