Dunstone finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunstone defeated Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) 8-3, then won 7-2 against Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI) and 6-3 against Edin. Dunstone went on to lose 9-5 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Co-op Tour Challenge, Dunstone take home 55.000 world rankings points along with the $30,000CDN prize. Dunstone move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 49.825 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 2nd overall with 395.781 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
