Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) won 8-2 over Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in the Final of the Co-op Tour Challenge, held October 14 - 19 in Nisku, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Homan won 5-4 over Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the semifinals of the Co-op Tour Challenge in Nisku, Alberta; and won 9-3 over Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the Co-op Tour Challenge in Nisku, Alberta;
Homan finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Xenia Schwaller (Zurich, SUI) 7-5, then went on to lose 8-4 against Stefania Constantini (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Homan responded with a 6-5 win over Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg, SWE). Homan won 7-4 against Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Co-op Tour Challenge Championship title, Homan earned 75.000 world rankings points along with the $38,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 49.925 after improving upon their best so far this season. Homan ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 191.250 points earned so far this season.
