Pia-Lisa Schoell/Joshua Sutor (Oberstdorf, GER) won 9-8 over Klara Cihlarova/Tomas Macek (Prague, CZE) in the Final of the Mixed Doubles Prague Trophy, held April 4 - 6, 2025 at the Curling Arena Roztyly in Prague, Czechia. To advance to the championship game, Schoell/Sutor won 7-6 over Kristyna Farkova/David Jakl (Prague, CZE) in the semifinals of the 2025 Mixed Doubles Prague Trophy in Prague, Czechia; and won 7-5 over Finland's Lotta Immonen/Markus Sipila in the quarterfinals. of the 2025 Mixed Doubles Prague Trophy in Prague, Czechia;
Schoell/Sutor finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schoell/Sutor defeated Ema Kosakova/Tobias Votava (Prague, CZE) 8-5, then won 9-3 against Cihlarova/Macek and 5-1 against Linda Joo/Raul Karasz (Budapest, HUN). Schoell/Sutor won 9-0 against Burcu Hasil/Muhammed Taha Zenit (Erzurum, TUR). Schoell/Sutor went on to lose 8-7 against Julie Zelingrova/Vitek Chabicovsky (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Mixed Doubles Prague Trophy Championship title, Schoell/Sutor earned 7.500 world rankings points along with the $1,200CDN first prize cheque. For week 36 of the event schedule, Schoell/Sutor did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 116th place on the World Ranking Standings with 11.906 total points. Schoell/Sutor ranks 116th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.906 points earned so far this season.
