Wilson finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wilson defeated British Columbia's Layna Pohlod 7-6, then won 6-5 against Erin Fitzgibbon (New Westminster, BC) and 5-4 against Kitazawa in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the King Cash Spiel, Wilson take home 7.150 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize, moving up 19 spots the World Ranking Standings into 98th place overall with 16.712 total points. Wilson ranks 85th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.413 points earned so far this season.
