Hollie Duncan (Woodstock, ON) won 5-2 over Momoha Tabata (Sapporo, JPN) in the Final of the Hogged Rock KW Fall Classic presented by Runback Brewing, held September 18 - 21 at the K-W Granite Club in Waterloo, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Duncan won 6-4 over Eun ji Gim (Uijeongbu, KOR) in the semifinals of the Hogged Rock KW Fall Classic presented by Runback Brewing in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-4 over Danielle Inglis (Ottawa, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the Hogged Rock KW Fall Classic presented by Runback Brewing in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada;
Duncan finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Duncan defeated Amanda Gebhardt (Listowel, ON) 8-3, then won 6-3 against Krysta Burns (Sudbury, NO). Duncan went on to lose 9-6 against Tabata. Duncan responded with a 11-1 win over Inglis in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Hogged Rock KW Fall Classic presented by Runback Brewing Championship title, Duncan earned 39.000 world rankings points along with the $4,750CDN first prize cheque. Duncan move up 16 spots after posting a net gain of 26.078 points improving upon their best 2 results so far this season, ranking 32nd overall with 95.466 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Duncan ranks 8th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 56.700 points earned so far this season.
