To advance to the championship game, Tabata won 7-1 over Laurie St-Georges (Laval, QC) in the semifinals of the Hogged Rock KW Fall Classic presented by Runback Brewing in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; and won 3-2 over Seungyoun Ha (ChunCheon, KOR) in the quarterfinals. of the Hogged Rock KW Fall Classic presented by Runback Brewing in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada;
Tabata finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tabata lost 7-6 to Danielle Inglis (Ottawa, ON), then responded with a 7-4 win over Krysta Burns (Sudbury, NO). Tabata won 7-4 against Amanda Gebhardt (Listowel, ON), then won 9-6 against Duncan in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Hogged Rock KW Fall Classic presented by Runback Brewing, Tabata take home 28.600 world rankings points along with the $2,750CDN prize, remaining in 11th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of -33.681 after improving upon their best so far this season.
