Courtney Woo/Daniel Wenzek (Langley, BC) won 6-2 over Sarah Loken/Cody Tanaka (Victoria, BC) in the Final of the Cloverdale Thanksgiving Mixed Doubles Curling Classic, held October 10 - 13 at the Cloverdale Curling Club in Surrey, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Woo/Wenzek won 9-1 over Shawna Jensen/Nicholas Meister (Langley, BC) in the semifinals of the Cloverdale Thanksgiving Mixed Doubles Curling Classic in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada; and won 8-2 over Melissa Turbow/Tony Kot (Lafayette, CO) in the quarterfinals.

Woo/Wenzek finished 5-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Woo/Wenzek defeated Natasha Cummings/Nicholas Hoffard (Abbotsford, BC) 7-6, then won 8-6 against Lucy Bradshaw/Darrick Kizlyk (Colorado Springs, CO) and 10-6 against Loken/Tanaka. Woo/Wenzek won 8-0 against Donna Thornborough/Jason Larence (Penticton, BC), then won 10-0 against Turbow/Kot in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Cloverdale Thanksgiving Mixed Doubles Curling Classic Championship title, Woo/Wenzek earned 10.500 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 12 of the event schedule, Woo/Wenzek did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 51st place on the World Ranking Standings with 32.150 total points. Woo/Wenzek ranks 45th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.350 points earned so far this season.
